The Career Development Office provides our NLU veterans and military-connected students with resources and services to help with the transition into your career choice.
Our NLU Career Development Staff works closely with our veterans and military-connected students in assisting them with their career searches. Advisors are available to meet with students for individualized career coaching as well as:
- Skill, personality and interest assessments
- Resume development
- Mock interview preparation
- Job search planning
- Marketing your skills
Helping make connections to careers, opening doors and making introductions to potential employers are important services NLU provides our students. Along with NLU’s reputation in a wide variety of industries, the University also has access to our own Veterans' Advisory Council and an NLU alumni network. The Veteran’s Advisory Council and alumni network are there to assist in connecting students with employers who are “military friendly.”
