How would you like to work together with key staff members and external organizations for the planning and execution of many of our activities and events here in your campus? You can work with the university's marketing team, one on one with the Director of Student Life, collaborate with other student organizations, and also have the opportunity to work with external organizations such as H&M Communications and Universal Pictures Latino. At the EAGLES, we work hard to make the opportunities endless. Become a part of this team and come on board backstage to all our exciting and educational activities and events at NLU.

Mission

The EAGLES Programming Board is the largest programming body in the university that works to provide a variety of events for the NLU-Chicago campus community. It gives the chance to take on a leadership role, provide service and gain professional experience. We strive to plan memorable events that build community. The purpose is to coordinate and sponsor events that will enhance the student experience in four unique ways:

  1. Promote community with and for the student population of the Chicago campus through planning and organizing diverse events
  2. Provide support and representation at university-sponsored events
  3. Coordinate events in collaboration with other student organizations
  4. Encourage participation in student body activities on and off campus

Lots of Options

Our newly implemented structure consists of the Executive Board and seven committees. The Executive Board is formed by the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and our Public Relations/ Social Media members. The seven committees are the following: Film, DoSomething.org, Town Hall/ Student Concerns, Special Event Planning, Social Event Planning, Ambassadors and Professional Development. Members of the Film committee will be working with H&M Communication and Universal Pictures Latino. DoSomething.org members will be working with the university and the DoSomething national organization. The Town Hall/ Student Concerns committee will be working with key staff and faculty of the university. The Ambassadors committee will be working with Marketing and the university.
