With all the free career advice available online today, it's easy to search "interview tips" and get a ton of information. There's really no excuse for going to an interview unprepared any more. That being said, I'm still seeing plenty of people fail to prepare thoroughly for an interview. What a waste of an opportunity. With studies showing you have just a 3% chance of getting a call for an interview, wouldn't you want to increase the likelihood you succeed in the interview so you can get the job offer?

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

 

Position: Adoption and Post-Adoption Services Intern, Hours TBD, Unpaid

Job Description: The Adoption Team works with children and families throughout the entire adoption process, including licensing parents who plan to adopt and providing services to families after adoptions finalize. This team focuses primarily on providing permanent homes to children in Foster Care. Intern duties will include helping families complete licensure process including completing a thorough home study assessment of the family. The intern will also learn about DCFS adoptions and will facilitate this process for foster children awaiting adoption. The intern will have the opportunity to develop and manage systems, as well as provide direct clients services within the post-adoptive services program.
