Summer Symposium 2018


Transforming School Culture: How to Overcome Staff Division

  Dr. Anthony Muhammad will lead and facilitate this interactive session drawing upon his research and recent work with school leaders. He will engage participants in a framework for simplifying the work of transforming school culture through an exploration of behavior patterns that support or undermine the development of a healthy school culture. School leaders will explore the dynamics of school culture from a sociological, psychological, anthropological, political, historical, and economic perspectives. 

Please bring your own copy of Transforming School Culture: How to Overcome Staff Divisions by Dr. Anthony Muhammad. This book will NOT be available to purchase at the event.

CIM Summer Institute 2019


An Introduction to the Comprehensive Intervention Model (CIM) Small group instruction K-8

This 3-day institute will assist school teams in planning and providing evidence based and tailored interventions for reversing learning difficulties. Sessions will provide an overview of several small group instructional approaches including Guided Reading Plus, Interactive Writing and Comprehensive Focus Groups aligned with core curriculum within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports.

CLM Summer Institute 2019


An Introduction to the Comprehensive Literacy Model (CLM) K-8 Schools and Classrooms

This 3-day institute will introduce school teams to the Comprehensive Literacy Model, an evidence based school improvement framework for Multi-Tiered Systems of support (MTSS).  Sessions will introduce school teams to a workshop approach for differentiating instruction across the curriculum, improving instruction through job embedded coaching, effective professional learning communities and assessment systems. Each day will end with school team planning time.
