2021 Comprehensive Literacy and Reading Recovery Conference
The 2021 Annual Comprehensive Literacy and Reading Recovery® Conference is being held virtually on January 20-22, 2021. This 3-day event will have webinar sessions between the hours of 8 am and 2:30 pm CT. Registration in now open here.
The conference is designed to provide superb professional development and networking opportunities for K-8 classroom teachers, intervention (Reading Recovery, Special Education, ESL) teachers, instructional coaches, program specialists, and administrators.
Our speaker lineup includes a variety of speakers covering 3 strands.
· Comprehensive Literacy - Regie Routman, Donalyn Miller and Jan Richardson.
· Reading Recovery - Betsy Kaye, Adria Klein, Jamie Lipp and Jeff Williams.
· Leadership – Dan Rockwell and Cornelius Minor.
Conference sessions emphasize the dynamic integration of literacy learning across the curriculum within the educational agencies and policies that influence systemic school renewal.

Educational Leadership Strand
The Friday, January 24, 2020 general session keynote and the Educational Leadership Strand presenter will be Douglas Fisher. Author of Engagement by Design: Creating Learning Environments Where Students Thrive and Teaching Literacy in the Visible Learning Classroom. This strand is offered for school administrators and leaders including Reading Recovery Site Coordinators, Principals, Literacy Coaches, and others related to specialized role of leading school improvement process.
