How to Create this Assignment in Livetext and Submit for Review

Creating a New Document: (starting the assignment)

  1. Login to your Livetext account
  2. Click on Documents
  3. Click on New
  4. Choose the Folder from Projects from the National Louis heading
  5. Choose the Template called LBS I Lesson Plan Template
  6. Type in your full name and Impact on Student Learning Assignment (e.g. John Doe's Lesson Plan)
  7. Click on Save as New Document
  8. Fill in the template according to the directions provided in each area.

Submitting for Review: (when you are done)

  1. With the Assignment open in Livetext, click on Send for Review
  2. Type in LBSIProgram
  3. Click once to select this account
  4. Click on Submit for Review


How to Assess Student Submissions of the Impact on Student Learning Assignment in Livetext

(for Faculty)

  1. Login to the LBSIProgram account in Livetext
  2. Click on Reviews
  3. Click on the assignment from the student you wish to assess
  4. Click on Assess Document
  5. Click on the radio button of correct rubric called "LBSI Lesson Plan Rubric"
  6. Click on Insert Document
  7. Click on the Undock icon to allow the rubric to be a separate window
  8. Select each of the appropriate areas of the rubrics by clicking in the correct square
  9. In the Comments box, type in any comments and, most importantly, your name.
  10. Choose Official
  11. When done, click on Save and Submit
