Discussion Posts Workshop

What: The Discussion Posts Workshop reviews the expectations that you should meet when posting to an online course discussion. The workshop provides guidelines and examples of how to write the most effective post that you can.

What: The Academic Writing Workshop reviews the characteristics of scholarly writing that you will encounter with your course assignments. The workshop focuses on cohesiveness, logic, and formality.

What: The Structure Workshop covers the different elements of essay, paragraph, and sentence structure for your writing assignments. Proper structure in these areas will help you to organize the information in your essays and to avoid incomplete or wordy ideas.

What: The Writing Process Workshop reviews the unique steps of organizing your thoughts and ideas to the final draft of a paper. If you struggle with beginning and/or completing a writing assignment, this workshop is for you.

Integrating and Attributing Sources Workshop

What: The Integrating and Attributing Sources Workshop covers the incorporation of quoted and paraphrased material into your own writing. The workshop also covers the guidelines for citing the sources of that material.
