The Federal Perkins Loan is a low-interest loan for undergraduate and graduate students. The school is your lender; the loan is made with government funds with a share contributed by the University. The amount you may receive depends on your financial need, the amount of other aid you are receiving, and the availability of funds at National Louis University. If you are eligible for this loan, the Perkins loan will be listed on your official Award Notification Letter from the Student Finance Office. The Perkins Loan may be used for education-related expenses only, and it must be repaid.
The following document is required to receive a Federal Perkins Loan:
- Perkins Loan Authorization Form (mailed to you by our office along with the award letter)
