Multiple Entry and Exit Points Tied to Employment
As a recognized leader in Adult Education, we know adult learners may not wish to follow a linear path where they move from an undergraduate degree to a graduate degree before applying for a job. Adult learners are more likely to blend education and work. They enroll to take only the classes they need to get a job, returning for more classes when they want a better job or a promotion. This is why the design of the NCE curriculum includes sets of courses with discrete employment outcomes. Students are able to seamlessly enter and exit a Certificate, Endorsement or Educational Specialist program at clear transition points in their professional learning cycle, rather than completing the entire Degree program at once.
