Dr. Efron Co-authors Book

Professor Sara Efrat Efron co-wrote a book with Professor Emerita Ruth Ravid, which was published by Guilford Press in November 2018.

Each step of searching for, evaluating, analyzing, and synthesizing prior sources is accompanied by user-friendly suggestions.  These suggestions include organizational tips, vignettes, and examples taken from student work and peer-reviewed articles.  The book, Writing the Literature Review: A Practical Guide, provides a roadmap for producing a high-quality review.  The book is focused on crafting different types of reviews (systematic, traditional-narrative, or hermeneutic-phenomenological) that reflect the literature review writer's research questions, methodological choices, and approaches to knowledge.
