  • Faculty Advises on Teaching Refugee Children

    Sadia Warsi, Ph.D., Associate Professor in National College of Education’s Special Education program wrote an article offering tips on how to teach refugee children. The article appeared in Teaching Young Children, the publication of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

  • Professor Travels to D.C. to Support Teacher Education

    NLU faculty member Todd Price, Ph.D., traveled to Washington, D.C. in June to support teacher education and inform policymakers about issues concerning teacher education.

  • NCE Alum Receives Ed.D. and is Elected as a School Board Member

    Todd Beadle ’11, NCE alum who received an M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision, was awarded an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership in 2016, through encouragement from the NLU Community. He was also recently elected to the school board of the Brown Deer School District, a public school district serving four-year-old kindergarten through 12th grade students in Brown Deer, Wis.
