Public Relations Manager

Public relations (PR) managers are responsible for preserving and enhancing a client's public image, whether that client is a public figure, business or other organization. They help clarify and communicate their client's point of view to their primary audience, as well as staying on top of social, economic and political trends that might affect the client. Some of their job duties may include writing press releases, helping clients communicate effectively with the public, creating advertising programs, developing a client's corporate identity, and managing other PR staff.

Media Director

A media director oversees all media-related activities for a business to ensure that advertisements make it to the appropriate audiences. They often work in advertising firms or large companies that have in-house advertising departments. Their job duties may include managing other advertising staff, researching and analyzing audiences, and determining which media (e.g. television commercials, radio spots, billboards) would be most effective in reaching that audience.
