Teachers, administrators or school service professionals with a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) can take National Louis University coursework to add an English as a Second Language (ESL) Endorsement to their teaching license. NLU’s courses meet the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) standards for endorsement in Bilingual Education.
