Dr. Weston has directed the Educational Leadership Doctoral Program at National Louis University since 2002. Before that he taught in NLU's Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) Graduate Program in the National College of Education with an emphasis on teacher action research. He has served as co-chair of American Educational Research Association (AERA)Division B, "Classroom Research"; researcher for the Chicago Annenberg Small Schools Grant; advisor for the Community Arts and Education Project and the Pilsen and Little Village Arts and Education Collaborative in Chicago Public Schools; and consultant to Lindop School District, Broadview, IL on school improvement planning and long-term, embedded professional development.
