Biography:
Dr. Sandra Stringer is an Assistant Professor in Educational Leadership. Dr. Stringer is a former Assistant Superintendaet for Human Resources, Principal and teacher in public schools in the northern suburbs of Chicago.
Dr. Stringer has served on the Board of the Principal’s Institute at Harvard University Graduate School of Education. She also received a Fulbright Award for the Administrative Exchange Program and spent time as a headmaster in England. Additionally, Dr. Stringer has served as a consultant training teachers and administrators in the Midwest and the Caribbean. Currently, she is serving as a principal coach with the Chicago Leadership Collaborative which seeks to train high quality principal candidates for Chicago Public Schools.

Research and Interests:
Dr. Stringer's primary experience has been as a practitioner from early childhood education to high school in the public schools. Specifically, Dr. Stringer examines how schools adopt best practices into their daily instructional routines to influence student success. Dr. Stringer is currently working on a research project examining the use of technology for instruction.
