Biography:

Alan Owens is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and has been an instructor at National Louis University for 10 years. Additionally, Alan owns Owens & Associates Counseling & Therapy Center, LLC.

 

Alan is a member of the Red Cross national disaster response team and has provided crisis counseling in response to numerous national and local disasters including the World Trade Center attack of 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, and the Lincoln Park porch collapse in Chicago. Additionally, Alan utilizes his culinary skills and has volunteered for over 15 years supporting The Rockford Literacy Council as a “guest chef” for the “100 Men Who Cook” annual fundraiser.
