Dr. Krell taught over seven thousand students in the following areas of expertise: management information systems design & development, basic and advanced accounting, corporate finance, international finance, investment banking, entrepreneurship, and leadership. It is surprising yet fun to run into students at local malls or even when vacationing!
Biography:
Dr. Krell is Adjunct Professor of Business and Management at the College of Professional Studies and Advancement. Most of his career has been in the Federal Government working in the Department of Defense (DoD) at The Pentagon located in Arlington, Virginia. He was involved in state-of-the-art Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence Systems. You will recognize one such system as the Global Positioning System (GPS) which is a great navigational tool. He was one of the original authors of the National Computer Security Center. Further, while at the National Bureau of Standards, he wrote the first national computer security standards. Additionally, Dr. Krell has held the senior position of Director, Strategic Planning, Office of the Chairman, AT&T Corp, at its Basking Ridge, New Jersey headquarters location. He was also a Technical Staff Member for the Mitre Corporation analyzing the first computer networks, and consulted to major food manufacturers on their information systems designs.

Education:
Dr. Krell graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aerospace Engineering, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management with a Master of Science (S.M.) degree, and from The George Washington University with a Doctor of Business Administration (D.B.A.) degree specializing in telecommunications.
Research and Interests:
Over the past several years, Dr. Krell has been concentrating on teaching a wide variety of MBA and MIS courses at National Louis University. He has a profound passion for teaching and is a Doctoral Chair, Methodologist and Content Specialist for many students some of whom have gone on to rich and rewarding careers with their advanced degrees.
Teaching Philosophy: We all learn from each other based on our backgrounds & experiences. Everyone has something to offer. A course should be aimed at active learning and full involvement of all. Materials and learning should be directly relevant and apply to current & future work experiences.
