Biography:

I am a writer and educator.  I spent a number of years early in my professional career as a journalist/photographer, writing and shooting photos for newspapers in the Midwestern region of the U.S.  I have served 25 years as a tenured Associate Professor of Marketing, in the College of Professional Studies and Advancement, School of Business and Management.  I have a special interest in marketing of not-for-profit organizations, particularly those in the social services areas that present challenging marketing approaches.  I am an editorial board member of the American Research Institute for Policy Development.   I also enjoy writing novels that acknowledge the human condition and triumph of the human spirit.
