Faculty Performance Review Resources

Our performance evaluation review process is designed to provide you with a formative assessment relative to the progress on your annual goals. Through this process, in collaboration with your supervisors, you will develop meaningful goals that support your growth and development as a faculty member and a professional in your field of practice. The summative component of the evaluation is used as one the factors for determining merit increases and aligns with the University’s Compensation Philosophy.


Review Dates: Faculty performance reviews will again be held this year during the months of April and May. For a more detailed timeline please use the PDF document linked below. 

Faculty Review Timeline and Due Dates


Flexible Scheduling:  The review period is open to all faculty.  The scheduling of your review meeting will be handled directly with your reviewer. Your reviewer will be in contact with you by March 15th.

Important Dates – deadlines associated with this process are coming up quickly.

All full time faculty will sign up for a review meeting by March 16th.  Look for instructions from the Office of the Dean. 

Faculty will prepare their review documents in March.

Faculty will electronically submit their review documents, which include a self-evaluation form, evidence documents and draft goals at least 2 weeks  in advance of the review meeting.   

Performance review meetings will take place during April and May.   

Reviewers will upload reviews at least 24 hours prior to review meeting.

Letters of Appointment for the Academic Year 2018-2019 will be issued by June 30, 2018.


Review Documents: Please visit the Faculty Review Sharepoint Site to upload your supporting documentation for your review. Documents are due 2 weeks in advance of the review meeting.
