What is the BSM Program?
Management (BSM) is the degree of choice for students who aspire to work in the profit and nonprofit sectors. Emphasis is on case studies, team projects and simulations as a group as well as individual management assessments. What are the requirements for admission to the program?
Requirements for admission to the program are as follows: students must have at least 60 semester hours (90 quarter hours) of previous college credit with a GPA of 2.0 or above from an accredited institution(s). Students should also have paid the application fee and have submitted an application for admission to the University. How long will it take to complete the cohort program?
The Management program is a 17 month accelerated degree completion program. It is considered your core, or major, at NLU.
What types of classes will I take in the program?

Will I graduate with a bachelor’s degree when I complete the BSM program?
Graduation is contingent on completion of all the General Education, Elective and core requirements of the degree. The BSM program, your major, consists of 51 quarter hours of credit. The bachelor’s degree will include 180 quarter hours of credit. You have several options available to complete any outstanding credits needed for graduation.
How many times do classes meet?
Classes meet one evening per week. Classes at the Chicago campus will meet from 5:30–9:30pm. Classes at suburban campuses meet from 6:00–10:00pm.
