Aging Studies Concentration
Description:
The Aging Studies Concentration fulfills general education and elective credit for existing degree programs. It is not a standalone degree or program and the concentration cannot be advertised to students outside of the above programs.
Aging Studies is a high demand field. This concentration was developed for undergraduate students who are interested in Aging Studies and need several additional courses to complete the 180 QH for the degree. Courses also fulfill social science general education requirements.
How You Will Learn:
All courses in the Aging Studies Concentration are offered in a 6-week (FOCUS) format and can be offered either online or face-to-face in the classroom. Face-to-face courses meet one night per week.
Students may take one, two or all three courses listed for each concentration. Any NLU student can take these courses, but in order for the concentration to be noted on the transcript, all three courses must be taken, and in conjunction with one of the 4 approved undergraduate programs (Applied Behavioral Sciences, Health Care Leadership, Management, and Management Information Systems).
