“Who’s Who” at National Louis University
Each year, National Louis University selects students to be honored for their academic achievement and demonstrated leadership by naming them to the national list of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.” By submitting the requested materials, you will be considered for the 2012-2013 selection. The Selection Committee takes this process seriously and looks for the best. At National Louis University, Who’s Who recipients will be recognized at the Student Awards Ceremony in May 2013.
Criteria for Nomination
- Outstanding academic excellence and scholastic achievement (including a GPA of 3.0 or above).
- Demonstration of leadership via coursework and/or on the National-Louis University campus.
- Above-average participation in extracurricular activities on campus or in the greater community.
- Be classified as a full-time Junior or Senior undergraduate or graduate student this academic year.
- No pending disciplinary problems.
Application & Scoring
Your application will be scored on three criteria: Scholarship & Academic Achievement, Honors & Awards, and Activities & Involvement.
You must submit the following materials for your application to be complete:

Personal Statement-Please write a personal statement explaining how your experiences and achievements have prepared you to receive this Who’s Who award. Include special situations, work experience, involvement, etc. that may not be evident in your life experience. Please include your Name, NLU Student ID number, Home Campus, and Contact Information (Mailing Address, Phone Number and Email Address)

Letter of Reference-A candidate must submit one written reference on his/her behalf. This should be written by someone who has personal knowledge of your academic and/or co-curricular experiences. Choose your reference wisely, these weigh heavily when evaluating applications. It is helpful to give your reference a copy of this information page. If you are a faculty or staff member nominating a student, they need not complete a personal statement.
