Giving to NLU can take many forms, from cash donations to securities and trusts. Whichever method you choose, you may support the University’s greatest needs with an unrestricted gift, or you may designate your gift to support a specific initiative.
Check or Credit Card
You can make a credit card gift online at our secure web site, or call us at (312) 261-3166. To give by check, please make your check payable to National Louis University and mail it to:

Securities
A gift of securities is an easy way to contribute to NLU—and it can result in special tax savings for you. If you're considering using securities to support the University, we encourage you to consult with your financial advisor and NLU’s Office of Institutional Advancement.
Planned Gifts
When you include NLU in your estate plans through a bequest, trust, retirement plan or other form, you leave a meaningful legacy for generations to come. Some planned gifts even provide income for yourself or for a loved one and there can be significant tax advantages to certain gifts.
Personal Property
There can be tremendous benefits to donating your home, vacation home, or collectable to the University. Please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement and your financial advisor when you are ready to discuss such a gift.
Gifts-in-Kind
National Louis University can benefit significantly from in-kind gifts such as office equipment or professional services such as printing or consulting. If you or your business can make such a gift, please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement.
Matching Gifts
Many employers will match charitable contributions made by their employees or even retirees. To find out if your company participates you can contact your Human Resources Office or ask us and we will do the research for you. This is a tremendous way to increase the impact of your gift.
