Biography:
I have been a faculty member with National-Louis University since 2001 on a part-time basis and joined the faculty on a full-time basis in 2007. I have spent more than 20 years of my career in the Human Services field where I have been a counselor, advocate and a leader. Prior to joining the NLU faculty I spent 7 years as Program Director in the Intensive Rehabilitation Department for the Salvation Army Harbor Light Center. I graduated from the Applied Behavioral Sciences Program here at NLU in 1999; I continued my studies and received my doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University in 2006.
My interest in leading effectively has been the driving force behind my education and career choices. I founded Girls of Grace Youth Center, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to equipping girls and young women with valuable leadership skills. I have always been committed to helping others advance and reach their fullest potential. This is my life’s work.
