Fred oversees all NCE collaborations with area schools and districts—and coordinates the activities in the Office of Field Experiences. He and his colleagues are committed to strengthening the already positive working relations NCE has with its partner schools and districts. He oversees all clinical placement experiences for Early Childhood Education, Middle Level Education, Secondary Education, and Special Education. He works with department chairs and faculty to ensure that students engaged in either teacher observations or student teaching have excellent and diverse learning experiences that meet the highest expectations of the profession. In addition, Fred works with NCE's partner schools and districts to help them create a more comprehensive professional development model that provides both degree and non-degree continuing education for pre-service and in-service teachers.

Florence is the primary liaison for students in the Elementary, Early Childhood, and Special Education programs and coordinates the placement of student teachers when it is time for their field experience with NCE's partner schools. She maintains the database for Elementary, Early Childhood and Special Education—and keeps track of applications and placement confirmations from schools so that students will meet University and state requirements to become certified teachers. She also works with the Program Coordinator to assign supervisors and handles voucher assignments to the cooperating teachers.

Rachelle is the primary liaison for Secondary Education teacher processing and placement. She coordinates the placement of student teachers with more than 300 schools and districts and maintains a database of the Secondary Education student teacher candidates for each term. She continually keeps in touch with Secondary students in order to assist them in their student teaching application process and to facilitate student teaching placements. Rachelle works with the entire Clinical Placement team and collaborates with faculty to continually improve the student teaching placement process.
