Liberal arts students' employment and earnings have increased over time, and more liberal arts graduates are reporting employment that relates to their degree.1 Those who study liberal arts can pursue a range of careers, including marketing, advertising, journalism, education and customer service, as well as graduate study in any major and minor areas. Most entry-level positions require people who can learn quickly and solve problems—skills in which liberal arts students often excel.
