Located at 122 S. Michigan Ave. in the heart of the Loop, NLU’s flagship Chicago campus is an exciting place to take classes and is only a short walk from the Art Institute of Chicago, Millennium Park, Grant Park and Lake Michigan.

The Office of Student Experience offers campus tours at the Chicago campus to new, returning and prospective students. To schedule a tour, please complete the schedule a tour form. You are automatically enrolled in the NLU CTA U-Pass program if you are a full-time undergraduate or graduate student taking classes at the NLU Chicago campus (not an online student). Need more info? Visit our U-Pass page.
Looking to get an NLU sweatshirt? Pens and note cards? The gift shop has what you need. It’s located in the second floor atrium of the Chicago campus. Store hours are Monday-Thursday, 12-5pm. NLU provides free lockers (combination lock included) for students to store bags and books on campus. To reserve a locker, go to the 6th floor Student Center.
See You at the Movies
Take a break from your studies and take advantage of discounted movie tickets for AMC Loewe's Theaters. Tickets cost $7 and can be purchased at the Student Finance office on the 2nd floor.
Where to Study
Need to find a quiet place to study before or after class? Chicago has 6 computer labs for student use, 4024, 4036, 4038, 4042(Mac Lab), 4044, and 4046. Computers and study space are also available in the Student Center on the 6th Floor and in the Library in room 6004.

Where to Eat
Vending Machines ar located in the Lounge in room 5007B, and on the 6th Floor outside the Student Center. The Office of Student Experience also sells Coffee and Tea k-cups at the 2nd Floor Welcome Center and the 6th Floor Student Center. Students are welcome to relax or eat in 5007B, in the 6th Floor Student Center, or in the 2nd Floor Atrium if no events are taking place.
There are many restaurants within walking distance, including Cosi, Corner Bakery, Gepade Cafe, McDonald's Panda Express, Potbelly, and Pret a Manger, among others.
