National Louis University is committed to building an inclusive university community that welcomes, values, respects and accommodates students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
The Office of Diversity, Access and Equity works hard to ensure that all facilities and programs are accessible to students who require specific academic accommodations for a chronic disabling condition. If you are in need of such accommodations, we want you to feel at home at NLU.
All faculty should be aware that any student who asks to receive accommodations must self-identify either directly to the professor or to Library & Learning Support Specialist Peter Ploegman. Please see linked below the NLU Policy on Students with Disabilities and the Faculty Guide in Assisting Students with Disabilities
If you have any questions about accessibility or special accommodations, please contact LLSS Peter Ploegman at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 312-261-3188. All records are kept strictly confidential. Peter is based at the Chicago campus library, room 6004, and keeps the following schedule:
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Thursdays and Fridays: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Note: On rare occasions, Peter may be at one of the four suburban campus locations. It is best to call in advance to ensure his availability.
