The holiday season is approaching fast and there are families who are less fortunate
and in need of some assistance. So, in the spirit of giving, let’s engage with our
communities and be a beacon of hope in the lives of others. We want to ensure that all
of our neighbors have a meal on their tables.
Please donate non-perishable food items such as canned goods, boxed goods, and dry
goods. Every little bit helps. For your convenience there will be boxes available at all
five campus to place your donations. Donations will be given to local food pantries.

Service-learning books and other resources are now available for faculty use. These resources are housed in the five Chicago-area campus libraries. NLU faculty may check them out as two-week reserve items.
The NLU Civic Engagement Center also has a YouTube Channel with videos of the Service-Learning Symposium and past service trips to New Orleans. Pictures of service trips to New Orleans are available on Photobucket.
