Barbara Neisendorf is the President of Neisendorf & Associates; a strategic human resources consulting firm that specializes in helping organizations deliver high performance through their people. Neisendorf & Associates offers products and services in organization effectiveness, leader effectiveness and career development. Barbara is the creator of Career Window® and Career Serendipity, the company's flagship products that enable employees to create career development plans that really work—for the employee and the company.
Barbara has distinguished herself with innovation and accomplishment in cutting-edge global corporations in all facets of leadership and organization development. In her corporate and consulting experience, Barbara has designed successful change management initiatives to support business improvements; developed integrated succession, talent and performance management strategies; designed comprehensive leadership and career development programs that build future leaders. Barbara serves as executive coach to high potential senior leaders as they work to hone their leadership capabilities and create high performing teams.
Before founding her firm, Barbara served as Vice President of Worldwide Learning and Development for two global companies—Levi Strauss & Co. and MasterCard International. She also held senior leadership positions with Nestlé USA and Arthur Andersen & Co.
Barbara is a frequent speaker on strategic human resources issues with a focus on leadership, succession and career development. Her research findings and written work have been published by The Conference Board, The Center for Creative Leadership, Strategic HR Review and several other professional journals.
Barbara holds a BA and MA in Education from Northern Illinois University. She is a member of the Bay Area Executive Development Network and the Alliance of Technology and Women. She and her daughter volunteer at Lifehouse, a non-profit agency serving developmentally disabled adults.
