The Wednesday pre-conference offers 5 hours CPDU credit and the Thursday and Friday conference offers up to 9 hours to eligible Illinois-certified administrators and teachers who are working on their certificate renewal. The hours can be applied to either Administrators Continuing Professional Development Activity (for administrators) or Continuing Professional Development Units (CPDUs) for teachers.
Wednesday Pre-Conference CPDU forms will be available that day. Return completed form to the registration area at 4:00 pm to receive your CPDU Evidence of Completion. There will be no granting of credit after the conference or without the submission of the appropriate forms.
The CPDU forms for Thursday and Friday conference will be in your conference bag. Complete these forms and return them to the registration area after your last session to receive your CPDU Evidence of Completion. There will be no granting of credit after the conference or without the submission of the appropriate forms.
Participants may earn one semester graduate credit hour by taking a course in conjunction with participation in the Comprehensive Literacy & Illinois Reading Recovery® Conference held on Wednesday, January 22 through Friday, January 24, 2014 at the Marriott Chicago Downtown Hotel. Those wanting graduate credit will register for the conference and the graduate course separately and pay both the conference registration fee and National Louis University tuition.
