A Message from Kathleen Walsh, Interim Provost, National-Louis University

This is an exciting time in the history of National-Louis University. Access. Innovation. Excellence. NLU is committed to providing access to higher education to everyone. It is delivering innovative programs in its three colleges and also innovative ways of reforming public education. The university, importantly, pledges a commitment to excellence in its classrooms and degree programs. Now is the time to enroll at NLU.

Our students have access to a wide variety of programs and curricula in the National College of Education, College of Arts and Sciences, and College of Management and Business.  Our University Library is a true academic partner offering instruction as well as supporting the mission of the colleges.

We’re committed to providing academic programs that honor our 120+ year history while taking full advantage of the best teaching/learning constructs available.  Our educational philosophy bridges theory and practice; learning through collaboration and active participation. Our faculty members are great teachers informed by their scholarship, service to their profession, and continuous professional development.
