The P.A.C.E. residence staff is a diverse team of recent graduates with related experience in the field of disabilities, special education, counseling, social work or psychology. An additional full-time faculty member provides an activity curriculum and problem-solving support.
Each P.A.C.E. student has the opportunity to experience on-campus living in a college setting. They spend time in the local community, as well as take advantage of the many cultural and social activities that can be found in the City of Chicago. P.A.C.E. students have access to all NLU facilities, including the library, art studio and computer labs. The large fitness facility near the campus provides the opportunity for regular physical fitness. Students learn to use public transportation, to get them anywhere from work or just to meet friends at the movies.
