Reimagining School Symposium highlights Creativity in Education
On March 3, the second installment of the “Reimagining School” symposium series was held at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater. A collaboration of the Golden Apple Foundation, NLU, Family Action Network and Chicago Shakespeare Theater, the symposium brought together nationally recognized figures in education for a conversation about the ways schools can foster creativity and innovation to raise students’ global competence in a changing world.
The second installment featured Trung Le, founder of The Third Teacher +, an education design consultancy, and Nichole Pinkard, an Associate Professor in the College of Computing and Digital Media at DePaul University and founder of Digital Youth Network and Remix Learning. WBEZ’s arts and culture reporter Alison Cuddy moderated the conversation.
A recording of the symposium is available for viewing at Reimagining School symposium.
