National Louis University's first of five forums on education, public policy and culture will be broadcast live online tonight. Tonight's panel will break down "What's Next for Chicago Public Schools?" Join us as we share concerns, and explore ideas and possible solutions for the short-term and long-term prospects facing our public schools. Speakers include: Dominic Belmonte, president and CEO of Golden Apple; Miguel del Valle, Chicago city clerk; Josh Anderson, executive director of Teach for America in Chicago; Karen Lewis, president of the Chicago Teachers Union; Pauline Lipman, author and professor of Educational Policy at the University of Illinois; Reverend Calvin Morris, executive director of the Community Renewal Society in Chicago; and Ted Purinton, chair and assistant professor in the Department of Educational Leadership at National Louis University and author.
