Biography
James Nowotarski is an educator and consultant in information technology. His main focus is helping individuals and organizations improve their capability to apply and manage technology. He is a full-time faculty member at National-Louis University, teaching courses on systems development, information technology, and project management.Nowotarski is a member of the Association for Information Systems, Information Systems Audit Control Association; Sociey for Information Mangement and Value-Driven Change Leadership working group on project management.
Prior to joining National-Louis, Nowotarski worked at the consulting firm Accenture on information systems projects for enterprises such as Baxter International, IBM, Internal Revenue Service and The Northern Trust. He also led Accenture research and development initiatives in systems development, web-based systems, knowledge management and offshore development. He taught classes at Accenture's training facilities in Asia, Europe and North America. He worked with CIOs and academic researchers as a sponsor of MIT's Center for Information Systems Research, a group that focuses on issues in enterprise technology.
