Biography
Christina K. Nolan, NCC, LCPC is an assistant professor of counseling and human services at National-Louis University. She has varied experiences as a school counselor (K-12), teacher (K-9), reading specialist (K-12), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and counselor educator in NLU's Counseling and Human Services Department in the College of Arts & Sciences.Nolan currently coordinates the university's school counseling program on the Chicago campus. In addition, she is a doctoral student in the educational leadership program in the National College of Education at NLU. Particular areas of interest and study are: Social-Relational Aggression in Adolescent Girls as Seen through the Lens of a Social Cultural Model, Implications of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in the Academic Setting Family Systems, Use of the Genogram in School Counseling and Creating School Counseling Curriculum utilizing the ASCA National Model. She is past-president of the Illinois School Counseling Association (ISCA).
