Earn $50,000 Toward Your NLU Degree

Are you thinking about pursuing your undergraduate degree but not sure you can afford it? The Elizabeth Harrison Fellowship program is designed to help students who show exceptional promise as community leaders earn their degrees through NLU's daytime program at the downtown Chicago campus. The Harrison Fellowship, up to $50,000, is awarded over four years. Other forms of financial assistance may be available.

Fellows attend daytime classes at NLU's downtown Chicago campus and receive additional academic guidance and personal and career development coaching while pursuing one of the following degrees:

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Elementary Education
Attending one of the best teaching programs in Chicago, NLU education students learn best practices in the classroom, and develop the creative, administrative and organizational skills required to be a successful teacher. As a fellow, you'll study education for four years including one summer and gain hands-on experience through student teaching. Graduates are eligible to receive their Type 03 Certification and an endorsement in math or science, and NLU will help you achieve your goals by preparing you for the Basic Skills test.

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Administration
NLU's bachelor's degrees in business prepare students like you for successful careers as entrepreneurs or in fields such as general management, marketing, health care and information systems. NLU's College of Management and Business bases its curriculum in real world challenges so you get a relevant education, and learn the essential interpersonal skills, presentation and writing skills, and business savvy necessary to succeed on the job.

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Human Services
NLU's curriculum is designed to expand your understanding of human development and behavior in a multicultural society.
