Who is the ideal candidate for this program?
This program is suited to administrators and experienced educators seeking supervisory advancement.
What type of state certificate will I earn?
In Illinois, you must have a minimum of 2 years teaching or personnel experience to attain the general administrative certification and Type 75 endorsement. In Wisconsin, you may be qualified for Type 51 (K-12 principalship), Type 10 (Director of Instruction) and with an additional course (SPE 561), Type 80 (Director of Pupil Services/Special Education).
What is a cohort?
Cohorts consist of a group of 20 or less students who progress through the same program. Cohorts encourage group interaction and enhance the learning experience.
