- What do I need to apply to the DEE doctoral program at NLU?
- You will be evaluated on your academic record, professional experience, letters of reference, professional portfolio and an interview. A GRE score is not required.

- Can I transfer prior post master's course credit?
- NLU may accept up to 12 semester hours of credit from NLU or an approved accredited graduate institution.
- Will I have to select program electives?
- Yes. You may select from Curriculum and Social Inquiry, Reading and Language, Language and Literacy, Educational Leadership, Educational Psychology, Technology in Education or a selection discussed with your doctoral advisor.
