Scholarships
Scholarships recognize your academic achievement, unique attributes or contributions to the community and are also a great way to make college more affordable. Unlike student loans, they do not have to be re-paid upon graduation. Take advantage of the scholarship opportunities available through NLU, the government and other organizations.

Grants
Grants are based on need, don’t have to be repaid and are only available to eligible undergraduate students. NLU offers four types of grants:
- Federal Pell Grant
- Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
- Illinois State Monetary Award Program (MAP)—A grant from the State of Illinois for eligible Illinois resident undergraduate students
- NLU Grant—A grant funded by National-Louis University
