The Chinese Club of National-Louis University was established in 1986. Since 1987, the main purpose of the club has been to provide academic and social support to new and existing Chinese students at National-Louis University.
Also, the club has given academic awards to outstanding Chinese students who have succeeded in their studies. Those who qualify for the academic award receive $50 and an award certificate from the Chinese Club. Every year, the Chinese Club gives 2 to 11 academic awards to Chinese students.
We have held many activities to represent Chinese students’ interests in all aspects of college life, such as the Chinese Handicraft and Gift Fair, Chinese New Year Celebration, Asian Heritage Month Celebration, Low Income Tax Workshop, Annual Award Celebration, Fundraising events for Sept. 11 and Tsunami victims, etc….
