Our Dreams and Our Deeds: Reflection at the Heart of Service-Learning
Chicago Campus, 2nd floor Atrium 

NLU’s 3rd Annual Service-Learning Spring Symposium, Our Dreams and Our Deeds: Reflection at the Heart of Service-Learning, took place on Thursday evening, May 1, 2008 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Atrium on the Chicago Campus.  Dr. Patrick Green, the Director of Experimental Education Center at Loyola University,  gave the keynote address, Reflection as Meaning-Making: Mediating Learning in Service-Learning, stressing the importance of reflection in bringing out deep academic content through service-learning.  Roundtable presentations highlighted service-learning projects at NLU.
