Fees

Your NLU Corporate Liaison Representative will review all fees with you. Student fees for assessed credit, application and books may apply.

Tuition

The NLU/BOMI bachelor's degree program curriculum is tailored to your unique background and is created through a two step process. An NLU Corporate Liaison Representative will guide you through these steps.

The first step is to carefully assess your prior learning experiences with particular attention to your BOMI training and job competencies. To accomplish this, we will ask you to submit a copy of your BOMI Designation. In addition, we'll evaluate any prior military and or union training, community college or college courses that you may have taken, plus any other expertise that you may have developed. (For example, do you speak a foreign language, or are you an American history buff?) Because we specialize in teaching adult students, we realize that you may already possess knowledge that can be objectively evaluated by our faculty and staff and turned into assessed college transfer credit.

Second, we create a bachelor's degree completion plan that focuses on teaching you the subjects that you don't already know. We do this by subtracting your assessed college transfer credit hours against the 180 elective, general education and management courses quarter hours required for graduation. The result is a personalized bachelor's degree completion plan that specifies the courses and credit hours you must complete to graduate and your projected tuition. Our average tuition per quarter hour is $395. All students admitted to this program will receive the BOMI bachelor's degree program scholarship. (Please read in the next column under Financial Aid.)

NLU maintains a schedule of fees and tuition charges. Total fees and tuition will vary by student based upon transfer credit awarded for prior learning experience, prior college level courses taken and other factors. An NLU Corporate Liaison Representative will identify all fees and tuition charges associated with your individual bachelor's degree completion plan.
