Q. I've been away from National-Louis for awhile, but I'd like to return and finish my degree. How do I return?
A. View this narrated presentation to learn more.
Q. I am a student in an accelerated degree program (ABS, BSM, BSMIS, or HCL). What options do I have for completing requirements outside of my program?
A. Students in these programs have a variety of options for earning these requirements. This narrated presentation will provide some basic information on your options.
Q. When should I meet with an academic advisor?
A. This varies based upon your academic program:
Q. Who is my academic advisor?
A. Your advisor will vary by campus and academic program. You will work with an advisor upon admission and it is best to continue to work with just one advisor throughout your time at NLU. Upon admission, you can contact the UAAC at 1-800-443-5522, ext. 5900 to see who your advisor is.
Q. How do I take a math course at NLU?
A. If you must take a math course at National-Louis, you must first take the math skills assessment. This assessment is given by our Center for Academic Development (CAD). The CAD has developed review materials to assist you in preparing for the assessment. It is recommended that you take the assessment at least two terms prior to the time that you wish to take a math course at NLU so that you can see if any developmental work is needed first. Review materials, testing dates, and other information can be found on the CAD website.
