The Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Educational Support (DANTES) or DSST Test is a standard credit by examination program provided by Prometric that offers students the opportunity to earn college credit in many common academic and technical areas.
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that protects the privacy of a student's academic record. The Family Policy Compliance Office in The U.S. Department of Education oversees the enforcement of this law by educational institutions such as National Louis University.

NATIONAL STUDENT CLEARINGHOUSE
National Louis University reports enrollment to financial lenders through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC). In addition, all third party enrollment and degree verifications and online transcript requests are handled by NSC as well. www.studentclearinghouse.org
