Keynote addresses, NESA in Bangkok Thailand, March 2006; NMSA, 2006; Principal’s Leadership Breakfast, and upcoming Small Schools Conference in Miami, FL, January 2007 and “Turning Points” Middle School Conference in March 2007.

WORK IN SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY:
Creator of and facilitator for the Middle Level Collegial Network, a professional development Network for middle schools in Long Island, NY. Ongoing Professional Development coach and workshop leader in numerous middle schools.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Middle School change and reform, teacher professional development, young adolescent growth, and learning, democratic curriculum and instruction, small schools, and urban teaching.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE: 
Various Spots in Europe, Jakarta, Bangkok, all provinces in Canada, and Australia. Work devoted to middle level education overseas.

PERSONAL INTERESTS:
Running, reading, cooking for friends, hiking, biking.
