Nancy Naughten

Nancy Naughten is the current Program Director of the Middle Level Education Program.  Her duties include scheduling classes, communicating with adjunct instructors, advising prospective students and current Master’s Level students, and revision of all Middle Level curriculums and assessments.

Nancy enjoys facilitating classes in the Middle Level Programs because she has many years of experience in educating young adolescents.  One of her goals is to be sure that each student that takes a course with her at National-Louis be prepared to meet the needs of the young adolescents in his/her care.

In 2002, Nancy earned a Certificate of Advanced Study in Middle Level Education.  She teaches courses in this program at the Wheeling Campus.  She also has a Master’s Degree in Reading and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.

When Nancy is not teaching, she enjoys taking care of her five grandchildren or walking her two golden retrievers.

If you have questions concerning the Middle School Endorsement or the Master’s Programs in Middle Level Education, you can contact Nancy at Ext. 5818.
