1. How does a student record the endorsement on his/her teaching certificate?
Go to www.isbe.net <http://www.isbe.net/> , click on Certification on the left side of the screen, then to Forms at the bottom of the next screen and finally to Form#73-52. Fill out the 2-page form and take or send this along with a new transcript and the required fee (shown on the top of the first page of the app) to their ROE.
2. Can a student take MLE 500 at the same time as MLE502?
Yes, although MLE500 is a prerequisite for MLE502, the two courses can be taken at the same time. These courses should be taken before student teaching in a middle school.
