PROFESSIONAL STATEMENT
Providing outstanding learning opportunities for our students is my passion and commitment. National-Louis University has provided me with a reat base of theoretical and practical knowledge. My work with the Educational Leadership Department allows me to share back with each of you that next step in your development as an educational leader.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Educational leadership from a practitioner's as well as an idealistic/theoretical point of view. As Superintendent of a small school district that is poised for growth, I work with all systems of the school district in order to provide the best learning envrionment for each student. (Academic Systems Improvement, Curriculum & Instruction (Response to Intervention/Positive Behavior Intervention Supports), Supervision, Staff Development, Technology, Facility Management, Finance/Business Office, Human Resources/Personnel, Transportation, Collective Negotiations, and Grants Management.
CURRENT COURSES
I've had the good fortune to work with each of the NLU EdL paired courses during the past several years. I find that whichever pairing of classes I am teaching become my favorite! (Organizational Leadership & Technology; Curriculum & Supervision; Finance & Personnel/Collective Negotiations; Academic Systems Improvement & Professional Development; Legal Issues & School Community Relations; etc.).
